Ever since she was little, Dr Mathew knew she wanted to be a pediatrician. She grew up caring for her siblings, which first ignited her interest in taking care of others. Working with kids makes her excited to come to work every day. Dr Mathew credits her dad as the biggest influence in her life. He has shown her how to work hard to make her dreams come true. Dr Mathew volunteers at Lurie Children’s, Western Michigan University Reach out to Read program and Peggy Notebart Nature Museum. In her free time, she enjoys reading and baking. Watching the kiddos I work with grow, helping them overcome challenges, and healing them is the most rewarding experience.
