Dr Pryor’s interest in medicine began early through experiences in scouting and first aid. Those experiences laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to caring for others. His first job as a lifeguard further solidified his dedication to helping others in critical situations. Dr Pryor went on to train with the National Ski Patrol and became a certified EMT, gaining valuable hands-on experience in acute care settings. During medical school, he developed a deep respect for the knowledge, technical skill and immediate impact that surgeons have on their patients—an appreciation that ultimately guided his path toward a career in surgery.
