“I always loved science and thought I might pursue a career in that area, ” says Dr Jonathan Martinek. Four years after completing his undergraduate degree, Dr Martinek’s desire to work with people led him to enter medical school to pursue a career in medicine. He has a special interest in diabetes management, psychiatry and in-office dermatology procedures. The love and support of Dr Martinek’s wife, Katey, and two children, Jake and Lucy, are his biggest influences. In his spare time, he enjoys fly-fishing and spending most of his summers in Southwest Michigan at his family’s lake house, which has always felt like home to him.
