For Misty, it is important to help others. It is even more gratifying to know you are making a difference. She feels honored to work in healthcare, where she is able to connect on such a humane, personal level with people from all different walks of life, She enjoys working in family medicine because she loves being able to care for newborns just as much as a 90-year old patient. As a mother of two, she has a special interest in pediatrics and woman's health. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, running, boating and reading. I feel blessed being able to go to a job everyday where I have the opportunity to connect with people in their time of vulnerability.
