Jessica chose midwifery as it is a profound privilege to work with women and their families during some of the greatest transitions of their lives. The biggest influence Jessica’s life has been the women that are in it. Her mother taught her to have a strong work ethic, her colleagues taught her perseverance, and her patients taught Jessica the definition of humanity and what is means to love one another. Jessica says, “Getting to be a small part of a woman's life from adolescence to post-menopausal and all the life stages in between. Just being able to help them navigate their health and well-being is truly rewarding every day.
