As a registered nurse, Amanda met her true passion as a midwife when she accidentally caught a 10.2 oz. baby while working within a delivery unit. She attributes her decision to become a midwife to two past mentors who pushed her to follow her dreams of becoming a certified midwife. Amanda enjoys educating young and teen mothers about pregnancy and proper care after delivery. When she has free time, Amanda enjoys being involved with her children’s school and spending time with her husband and two children.
