What Amanda enjoys most about being a midwife is being able to make personal connections and build lasting relationships with her patients. She loves meeting new people and having the opportunity to learn something new every day. She is most interested in Centering Pregnancy, breastfeeding and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Amanda chose to be a midwife because pregnancy and birth always fascinated her. She believes that pregnancy and childbirth are normal physiologic processes, and each birth is unique and special. As a midwife, Amanda feels honored to be a small part of so many birth stories. Amanda’s parents have been her biggest influences.
