Description
Growing up as the child of immigrants from Malta, Dr Slater was inspired to chase her dreams. Her parents influenced her to make a great life for herself and form lasting relationships with those around her. Dr Slater enjoys traveling and biking with her husband of 29 years, running and volunteering with a local animal rescue. I love people. It’s a privilege having the opportunity to help my patients help themselves get and stay healthy. Direct patient care is the heart of what we do in family medicine. Working alongside my patients to provide care to the whole person – body, mind and spirit – allows me to bring the most to patient visits.
